Privacy Notice

Beltina Estinvil, operating as Kairo Study ("we") — Kairo Study, operated by Beltina Estinvil — is the data controller for personal data processed through Kairo Study. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (first name, email, password or Google sign-in): to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Study data (courses, exam dates, topics, daily study time, tasks, Active Recall answers and ratings): to generate and adapt your study plans. Legal basis: contract.
• Subscription status (plan, renewal date, status): to give you the features you paid for. Legal basis: contract.
• Usage and technical data (feature usage counts, device and browser information, IP address, error logs): to enforce plan limits, keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and improve the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages: to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

We store your theme choice (light or dark) on your device. We don't use advertising or marketing cookies.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who host our app and database, and AI providers who generate plans and questions from the study information you enter;
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, taking payments, handling tax and issuing invoices;
• professional advisers, such as legal and accounting advisers;
• authorities, where the law requires it.

We don't sell your personal data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account in Settings, your study data is permanently deleted. Records we must keep by law, such as billing records held by Paddle, are kept only as long as required, then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, move it to another service, and withdraw consent at any time. Email beltinecommerce@gmail.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls that let each student see only their own data, and other appropriate technical and organisational measures.
